Play For A Stray is a partnership between Skyhawks East Bay North and For A Stray Dog Rescue.  Play For A Stray offers a variety of youth sports programs to raise money for our dog rescue mission. For every 50 registrations, we rescue a shelter dog at risk of euthanasia from one of our local overcrowded rescues.

A Non-Profit Dog Store!  Shop our catalog of high-quality leashes, collars, harnesses, bowls, apparel items and more!  All profits go to rescuing huskies at risk of euthanasia from overcrowded shelters.

Help support our mission to rescue Huskies from overcrowded California Shelters. Individual donations as well as corporate sponsorship opportunities are available.

You PLAY, SHOP, DONATE… we rescue a STRAY!

With For A Stray, rescuing a dog has never been more enjoyable! For A Stray collaborates with local businesses and talented individuals to provide goods and services that serve as fundraisers for our dog rescue mission, focusing on saving huskies at risk of euthanasia from the overcrowded shelters in Northern California.

Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds, conduct dog evaluations at local shelters, and transfer dogs to our highly reputable rescue partners. For each dog saved, our rescue partners receive a check for $1,000 to cover expenses such as boarding, staffing, food, supplies, veterinary bills, and rehabilitation training/socialization. Meanwhile, we strive to find the perfect forever home for each rescued dog.

Whether you choose to play, shop, party, or donate, you can feel good knowing that you are helping give a shelter husky a second chance at life.

With Your Help, We’ve Saved ALL THESE STRAYS!
