Thousands of dogs are euthanized every day in shelters due to overcrowding, or not demonstrating ideal kennel behavior because they become anxious from being locked up. If their behavior is not ideal due to being stressed, afraid, or uneasy to control, they get put on the list to be euthanized. It is our mission to save these beautiful animals and give them a second chance at life.

Play For A Stray raises money to rescue dogs who are on death row. We then transfer them to a safe rescue along with money that will support them and their needs as the rescue works to get them adopted.

Sponsoring a dog covers all the expenses needed to fully fund a dog in its rescue from start to finish. Expenses include rescue and transportation, veterinary/medical bills, food, water and other supplies, as well as re-adoption and marketing for the dog.
