Join us in an exciting initiative as For a Stray partners with Skyhawks Sports to launch: Play For A Stray! This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to channel their passion for sports into a meaningful causeārescuing dogs in desperate need. With every 50 sign-ups, we will save a dog at risk of euthanasia from our overcrowded shelters in the Bay Area. All sports classes are led by the East Bay’s leading youth sports provider, Skyhawks Sports. Together, we can make a differenceāone child and one dog at a time!

Camp Details:
- Sports: Choose between Basketball, Girls Flag Football, Flag Football, or Volleyball (You will choose the sport at checkout)
- Ages 7-13
- Days: M-F (7/07/25-7/11/25)

This action-packed full-day camp combines an afternoon of multi-sport fun with one of our renowned half-day sport specific camps. From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., campers will develop the skills and confidence to advance in the sport of their choice (choose between Basketball, Flag Football or Volleyball). Campers are grouped by age to participate in a series of interactive drills, skill-development games, Skyhawks original competitions, and simulated scrimmages.
After lunch, the camp transforms into a multi-sport bonanza, blending all their favorite sports and games into one thrilling full-day experience. Each day, your child will engage in exciting team activities that give a Skyhawks twist to traditional sports such as baseball, basketball, capture the flag, dodgeball, kickball, flag football, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and track & field.
Our enthusiastic staff and specialized curriculum allow young athletes to learn and grow through play, with lots of encouragement and a strong emphasis on fun. By adding just the right amount of friendly competition, our instruction extends beyond the court, teaching vital life lessons for both sports and life, including respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity, leadership, and self-esteem.Ā Your child will leave this camp with new friends, new skills, and a new passion for sports.
